We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Security) to join our esteemed computer software company. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and stability of our cloud-based infrastructure. With a minimum of 6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, and at least 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry, you will have a deep understanding of the unique security challenges facing healthcare organizations in the digital age.

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Security), you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy robust security measures and automate security processes. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the security and confidentiality of sensitive data and the availability and performance of our cloud-based applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure solutions that align with industry best practices and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and update security policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data by implementing appropriate security controls.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor and analyze security logs and events to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
  • Design and implement access controls and identity management solutions to safeguard critical resources.
  • Automate security processes to improve efficiency and reduce the risk of human error.

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a focus on security.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks, such as HIPAA, GDPR, or ISO 27001.
  • Experience with security monitoring and incident response tools and techniques.
  • Proficient in scripting and automation using languages such as Python or PowerShell.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), are highly desirable.
